New Banneker Institute Website Built on Open Source Content Management System

The recently completed website for the Banneker Institute of Science & Technology provides another example of leveraging open-source content management systems in web development.  Stratecomm recently built the new Banneker Institute website at http://thebannekerinstitute.org using Zope/Plone in order to give the client maximum control over content creation and updating. 

The Banneker Institute is devoted to increasing the participation of African Americans in the STEM fields, (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and is named after Benjamin Banneker, a self-taught mathematician and astronomer, clock maker, publisher who lived in the 17^th century.
